Parish Council is a
representative body of the parish
community which advises the pastor and
assists in the pastoral care of the
parish. The council does not serve as a
board of directors or a legislative
body. The focus is on mission and not
management. All matters dealt with by
the commissions come before the
Council. Membership is staggered
through a three year rotation. Meetings
are held in the Lipinski Center on the
second Thursday of the month, 7:30 p.m.
Fr. Tom Sutton sits as an active member
of this body. |

Administration Committee
assists the pastor in
administration of the
parish’s material
resources. It differs from
the others in that it
enables and assists the
other commissions in their
ministries.
Responsibilities include
building and grounds
projects, maintenance,
stewardship, budget
preparation and review, CSA
and financial
accountability. Membership
is on a three year rotation
bases. Meetings are held in
the Lipinski Center on the
second Thursday of the
month, 6:30 p.m. Fr. Tom
Sutton sits as an active
member of this committee. |

Christian Service
Commission provides
direction and coordination
of meeting the parish
community needs and reaches
out to the broader
neighborhood and civic
communities.
Responsibilities include
services such as
home/hospital visitation,
weekend coffee & donuts,
funeral luncheons, direct
assistance to the poor,
evangelization outreach,
letter writing on issues to
legislators and educational
programs that fall within
the commission’s
responsibilities.
Membership is on a three
year rotation bases.
Meetings are held in the
Lipinski Center on the
second Thursday of the
month, 6:30 p.m. Staff

Liturgical Commission
is advisory and consultative
to the pastor and parish
music minister. It is
responsible for seeing that
the parish’s liturgical life
is vibrant and that various
liturgical celebrations
build up a prayerful
community of believers.
This commission oversees
ministries of Liturgical
Planning, Music, Art and
Environment, Lectors, Bread
and Wine Ministers,
Ministers of Hospitality,
Greeters, Sacristans and
Altar Servers. Membership
is on a three year rotation
bases. Meetings are held in
the Lipinski Center on the
second Thursday of the
month, 6:30 p.m. Staff
representatives:
Sue LeVasseur and Shelley Helmreich. |

Education Commission
deals with the religious
education of all members of
the parish with
representation from Faith
Formation, Auburn Area
Catholic School, Youth
Ministry, and Adult
Education. Membership is on
a three year rotation
bases. Meetings are held in
the Lipinski Center on the
second Thursday of the
month, 6:30 p.m. Staff
representatives: Michelle
