Philosophy

Auburn Area Catholic School believes in the education of the whole child: mind, body, and spirit, in an environment that will enable students to develop to their fullest potential. Catholic values are integrated in the over all school environment to reinforce those values taught at home by parents. Essential to our goal is celebration of liturgy and prayer, a strong academic program and opportunities for each child to sense their worth in the eyes of God and themselves. Auburn Area Catholic School seeks to be an example of a living faith community at large.

Our parents refer to these key reasons why they send their children to Auburn Area Catholic School:
  • Faith based learning.
  • Small class size (low ratio of teacher to students).
  • Extended family atmosphere (many of our volunteers are parish members, grandparents, and extended family members).
  • Individualized attention.
  • High academic standards and students are held accountable for their learning and behavior.
  • Early involvement in extra-curricular activities, beginning in Kindergarten.
